… the journey begins.  Not exactly the way I’d envisioned this beginning.  I had a very restless night of sleep. Too bad I forgot to wear my FitBit – it would confirm that I only slept a couple hours!

Yet, I still managed to get out of bed at the earlier start time and focus on all the things I am going to need for Day One – my clean/healthy breakfast, my healthy lunch, nutritious snacks, gym bag packed, piano course materials and my novel notes ready. cupo

Although I am breaking one “rule” I set for myself already – I’m allowing one cup of caffeine.

Given the restless night I had and the fact that I have to be civilized and humane on the day job in a few hours, I believe I owe it to my coworkers and clients to ease into the decaf thing.

On tap for today, my clean eating, 1,000 new words on my novel and my music lesson, which I’ll profile in a separate blog post for the day.

I’ll check back in later and report how Day 1 ended.  😉

The day is now about done.  I wasn’t perfect today, but I followed the plan and I got it all done!  Progress, right?  I don’t expect to do all 3 things each day, but that’s the target.  First priority right now is the clean eating and fitness routine (more on that Friday).
